Travel to Indonesia

Hello,
I have an Indian Passport and a GC and plan to travel to Indonesia to visit family. To my understanding, Indian passport holders need to hold an Indonesian visa prior to arrival. I am planning on applying for the visa at the Indonesian consulate in NY. Just wondering if anyone in this forum has applied for an Indonesian visa before and if they can share their experience?

Yes, you will need a "Visitation Visa"..no special documents other than the usual bank statements, proof of employment, passport, visa fee etc.
