Hello Sir,

My H1b is expiring by January 31 2025.
My employer has applied for extension

I want to travel to India along with my spouse who is on H4.
Can I and my spouse(h4) travel in October 2024 and come back before January 31 2025?
If my extension is approved while I am in india do I and my spouse need to get visa stamped if I am retuning before January 31 2025?
 
f your H1B extension is approved while you're in India, you both will likely need to get your visas stamped before returning.
 
Traveling to India shouldn't inherently cause a referral or denial of your H1B or H4 extension. However, it's crucial to ensure that your extension application is properly filed and you maintain valid status while abroad.
