Hi,

My visa(6 years) is expiring in May 2006. I have not yet filed for extension and I am eligible for extension. I have the receipt from DOL that my labour is pending for more than an year.

I have to travel to India for few days on emergency and would like to know if I will have a problem at the port of entry to come back into the country. Would appeciate your insight.

As far as you come back to US atleast before 10 days before your visa expiry date, you should be fine.

Hi,
My 6 year H1B visa expires on March 20th 2006. Can I re-enter USA on 12th March ?
I already have the 3 years H1B extension approval (based on pending I-485) from 21st Mar 2006 to 20th Mar 2009. Due to visa interview appointment date unavailability and short duration of my trip, I want to re-enter USA on my existing H1B. Is it possible ? How about I-94, will it be valid only till 20th March ?
