Travel to India?

My I-140 was filed on Nov,2003 and I-485 on Dec,2003. My company is going to lay me off by the end of the month, but has promised to not to withdraw I-140 and answer for RFE's.

I have obtained my advance parole already.I need to visit India in next month due to personal reasons can I use my advance parole ? Will this be effect my I-140 in anyway?

Also would using my EAD card after returning put me of out of status as my employer will cancel my H1?
