Travel to INDIA while OCI is under process

I would like to know if there is any issue if I travel to INDIA for 4 weeks using 10 years multiple entry visa after applying OCI.

Is there any chance that the consulate will contact me by phone or postal mail while OCI is under processing. I will be able to check email also while I am in India.

Any suggestions.

I am in Houston, TX.

It takes 3 months or so to process OCI.I would def not be worried.
