Travel to India using PIO card.

I am going to India, end of this month on a visit and I had got my PIO card recently from the Indian embassy. When I got my ticket, the travel agent was saying that I should get the visa to travel to India but I was under the opinion that I don't need any visa to India if I have the PIO card. Can someone please share there opinions on this.

You don't need visa if you have a valid PIO card in your name.

At the same time, I assume don't forget to take the U.S. passport
with you (assuming you are an US citizen now..)
