Travel to India on EAD and AP

Do I need to have multiple entry H1B to travel India.

Or

EAD and AP is sufficient.

What do we need to show Indian Govt and what do we need to show at the port of entry.

You can travel using one of the two options:

(1) Advance parole;

(2) H1 visa stamp along with I-485 receipt notice.

I would like to add something here that, once you use AP to get back after travelling outside US, your H1B gets automatically cancelled. I dont know your current situation. However if you have enough time in H1, it may not be bad idea to use it for travelling instead of AP. So that you have option of transferring your H1 to any other new company should anything happen to your I-485 process or the company you work for, it\'s just my two cents here.
