Travel to India on AP

Has anybody travelled by AirIndia from Newark to Bombay via Paris. I have AP and EAD (on AOS) and want to know if transit VISA is required for Paris, eventhough we do not come out of the airline in Paris. Incase required how do you get one (location). My travel agent is not sure. Please help.

From other threads that I have read in the past, you do not require a Transit Visa in Paris if you are traveling by Air India. Better call the Airline to double check, they will be able to give you a definite answer. The main difference between Air India and other airlines is that you do not need to get off the Airplane.
