I have a situation that i am not able to solve.
H1B start date : 12/22/2004 (Non profit org)
OPT edn date: 12/21/2004
India trip 14th NOV to 4th DEC
US Embassy appoinment: 16th at Chennai
Now my problem came when my lawyer made a mistake. Instead of putting my start date in OCT he applied the day after my OPT.
My question is what can i do:
1. That can i go to the US Embassy for the H1 visa stamping and use it to enter US.
2. Cancel my appointmen and go as a F1 (OPT) and return as an F1
3. go to India apply for my H1 but return in late DEC after my H1 starts
4. Cancel my trip
Please help in this case or guide me to a lawyer who can answer this question.
