Travel to Hawaii

Hello,

I don't have the latest H-1 stamp on my passport and neither does my wife - as we got converted from visitor to H-1 visa more than a year back. However, my visa is completely valid and I hold a regular job.

Question is - we were planning on visiting Hawaii. Flight would leave from either LA or Phoenix to Honolulu. Do I need to have a valid stamp on my passport for this travel? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Thanks a lot for the response. One last question - on return from Hawaii, I'm assuming that you didn't have to go through immigration. It is just like any other domestic travel. Is this correct?

Thanks,
Amit.

No

I went to Hawaii last year from Wisconsin. I didn't even carry my passport. All you need is your state ID and your tickets and you are good to go. Its a domestic flight.
