I am an Asylee in the US, and am planning on going to visit Netherlands, France, Italy, and Germany for two weeks. I will spend most of my time in Netherlands.
Do anybody know if I can first travel to Germany without having a Schengen Visa (My understanding is that Blue Refugee Travel Document holder does not required to have a Visa to visit Germany) and then to Netherlands, France, and Italy. Do I need to show my travel document when I visit Netherlands from Germany?
I checked the Consulate of Netherlands website, and it mentioned that I need to provide my Air Ticket Reservation when I apply for the Visa. As far as I know, I can only hold my Air ticket for one day. It sounds to me that I have to buy my Air ticket without actually knowing if I will be granted for the Visa. Any suggestions?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
