Travel to Costa Rica & I751 issue

I plan to go to costa rica and thier website says you dont need a visa if you are a LPR with validity of more than six month.

Has anyone travelled on thier I-751 while they waited for the GC to be approved, to one of these countries and have any thoughts what I may need or any potential problems they know about.

You won't have any problem if you show your expired (or about to expire) green card with the extension letter.

Plus, it depends on which passport you are carrying. Costa Rica doesn't require any visa for most north american and european citizens.
