Travel To Canada With Aos Pending

My AOS is pending and I would like to travel to Canada for two days for a conference. I DO NOT HAVE A VALID AP, however, my H1B is still valid upto Sep. 2006 (VISA STAMP EXPIRED), and I have been working with the same employer since I came to the US. I am planning to use the automatic revalidation. Does this affect my AOS application in any way, i.e., considered abandoned etc.??

I would very much like to hear from those who have been in similar situations, or any other experts/gurus. Many thanks in advance.

Nope -- you can use the automatic revalidation process for a short trip (< 30 days) to Canada.

It does NOT effect your pending AOS in any way.
