Travel to Canada while I-140 Pending

Hello

I am waiting for my I-140 approval. My I-94 is no more valid in my
Passport (expired sometime in 2002). But I do have a valid I-94 in my H1B Transfer Paper. I do have Advance Parole and EAD. I need to go to Canada for a short business visit (1 week). The question is:

Can I travel to Canada?
Do I have to use my Advance Parole?

Yes, you have to use Parole to return to US if you are not a canadian citizen.
Valid I-797 (change of status) paper is no longer considered valid on the canadian border. It was before but after MArch17 2003 it is not considered valid for reentry into the US.
