Travel to CANADA on AP

My friend is planning to travel to Canada on AP and he is canadain Immigrant also. Is there any issues? and also does he need to report exit to US immigration at border?

Yep. I am a Canadian citizen and every time I go through the border, I have to go to secondary inspection just like everyone else. When you use AP, there's nothing "special" done for Canadian citizens or immigrants.

Just to clarify, they check the AP when you go back to the US. Going in to Canada, they've never asked. They're more interested in what you're bringing in to Canada to see if they can tax it!

I've even had to tell the Canada custom's agent what he has to do with my I-94 card. lol
