Travel to Canada as Landed Immigrant on AP

Has any one landed in Canada as Immigrant using AP?
Has there been any issue any where?
Which is a better method of travel? By Car or Flight?
I am planning to land in Canada on AP by car via Buffalo
Anybody with similar experience, please share

your message is a bit confusing. AP issued by DHS is used for coming back into US and not to land in Canada. Canada does not bother about your AP and stuff. All they need is the landing papers , canada immigrant visa etc for entering canada.
 
I guess Shibu's question might have been:
Does the US immigration officials cause any issues in someone using AP to travel back into US if they find out the purpose of the Canada visit is for the Canada landing (i.e. using US i-485's AP to get Canadian immigration stuff done).
