I have a H1 visa stamped till April 2009.
However I filed for change of status to H4 in Nov 2008 and the request was approved. So I am in H4 status currently.
Can I travel to Canada for job interview and reenter USA using the H1 visa stamped on my passport and the new H4 approval notice without going to US consultate to get my H4 stamped.
Has anyone has similar experience. Do the INS agents allow this ?
