Travel thru Paris - Will AP work instead of transit Visa

Hi All

Is any body having any expereince. Please share. France embassy says if you don't have valida USA visa stamp you need that. In my case our current visa is already expired and we are going to India (India passport holder) for stamping. We have approved H1/H4. Is approved H1/H4 is not enough. Also we have Advance Parole Document too in case, if that help.

The best thing - call French Embassy or/and check with your airlines since both of them can provide you with genuine information. People have different and sometimes contradictory experience here.
AP has nothing to do with you going to India - it is a visa "substitute" for you while comming back to show airlines that you have a right to enter US and to present for INS officer at POE here.
