I just called the Netherlands Consulate in Michigan and they told me that you don't need a transit visa for going thru their airport if I have a valid Indian passport and the I-551 stamp

Did anybody have issues travelling thru Amsterdam using the passport stamp

I called the consulate, and they told me the same thing. Any inputs. I am going to call NWA and see what they have to say.

Thanks

I recently travelled with AP thro' AMS. I think it is the only place with no transit visa or problems for Indian passport holders.

Good luck!

AMS is the only airport in europe where they honour and respect both indian passports and I-551/AP. Rest of the idiots  need transit visa if you dont have the plastic card or the visa stamp.

Yes, I agree with everyone! I got the same answer from Netherland Embassy that Indian Citizans do not need transit visa.

I am also going to India via NWA next month. I will let you know my experiences after I come back......

Thanks,
Mugdha.
