Hi Everbbody.

I have a doughter and she has been here last September.
She is derivative and I am principal asyle..
We will apply on upcoming september in order to adjust her status.

She is 18 years old.My questions are about the her travel.

1-How and which document does she has to have when I-485 pending in order to travel to outside of USA?
2-Can she use NP and can go to COP?
3-After GC can she travel to anywhere in the world with NP? or what kind of document does she has to have?

PS:I am sorry I hit the send button before to review and complete the my post.

Thanks for all yours replies.

She MUST use a RTD.

Double_V , how come you advise Freedom1963 to have her daughter traveling outside the US with NP before adjusting her status and on asylee status???? That is crazy........

Freedom1963: stop her trip and listen very well.

1. with I-485 pending, she must obtain a RTD to travel outside the US.

2. As an asylee ( PRINCIPAL ) DO NOT VISIT COP whatsoever unless something very huge happens. As a derivate asylee, I would not suggest her to visit COP. Be patience and wait until GC status. Why??? a lot of issues may arise from doing so, you should know by now the HUGE lack of knowlegde of the IO's in the USA, and jus think about how she will leave COP? with what documents???

3. After getting GC, she can travel freely anywhere in the world ( not CUBA nor any other country USA dont have freindship, at least i would not visit those ). She will even be able to visit COP with NP + GC.
AS8 ( GC Holders based on derivate asylee ) should not have any trouble entering the US.

As a personal experience, it took my 6 years to return to COP as an AS8, and i know how hard is for a young person the fact of being away from where all what you most like and love is. But that how it is.
She must be patience and wait , believe me, it is worth the wait,

Good luck.

As principal asylee I dont want to visit COP even after become US citizenship I am not sure I will do that or not.Anyway that was not the point.

She is not planing to visit COP.But we would like to be clear about the restriction.

Thanks again for your response to my post.

Medical Exam Requirement for derivative asyle.

Hello everybody.

My daughter came to USA last year and it's time to file her I-485 with USCIS.Couple months ago when I visited USCIS website I notice there is a medical exam exceptiion if the people got the medical exam in their country before admit to USA.

I could find the link or information anymore on the website.I would like to include into the our application.

Can you please advice or send me link if you know the addresse?

Best Regards./
