No official restrictions on travel ........BUT .....
You might get your fingerprint notice in a matter of a couple of weeks (or it could take longer). You should have somebody check you mail while away. If you miss your FP appointment, it is not a big deal to do a 'walk-in" for this.
However, this is not true when you ultimately get your interview notice or you oath notice. When this happens, if you were away, you should be prepared to retun for the interview/oath rather than postpone it, unless you have a true family emergency. Missing these can cause lengthy delays.
