my situation is a little weird. I and my wife did our FP in early Dec (my 140/485 concurrent ND is 9/22/03). My wife will need to make an overseas trip in late February. My question is what happens if just days before she leaves, I get email OR approval letter saying that our 485 has been approved (which is a real possibility). Can she still travel overseas and reenter on her Advance Parole (valid until July 05) and get her passport stamped AFTER her foreign trip - eventhough her green card had been approved BEFORE she left the country? Or, must she postpone her trip and get her passport stamped to leave the country? Obviously,I'm asking this because there may not be sufficient time for her to make an infopass appointment and get her passport stamped but the travel date might be upon her already!!
please advise. preferably if there is an INS webpage that clarifies this, it will be most helpful.
