After our 485 approval, we got our passports stamped. We have not received the cards yet, but planning to travel to India. Is this ok to travel just with stamping or do we need to wait for cards.
Except that when my wife used the stamp in the absence of a real card she was sent for secondary inspection since they needed to verify that the stamp was genuine. Still, it only added five minutes to the progress.
Remember too that at most airports green card holders can use the 'US citizens' lines at immigration.
