travel on old visa to india??

hello

my husband and myself fot visa stamped for h1b and h4 in chennai and now in my husband has change company and new h1b approval, at this point can we travel to india with the old valid visa in passport or will have to schedulde appointment in chennai for new h1b and h4 stamping if we travel , since now appt atleast takes 6 months to book....

once if we gst h1b and h4 visa stamping in passport is it easier to get the second time or will involve same risks as for first time?????

No -- you DO NOT need a new visa just because your husband works for a new employer.
You can re-enter on the old visa -- BUT remember to show the latest approval notice (with the new company's name).

Make sure that your I-94 is stamped till the date mentioned on the approval notice (NOT till the visa stamping date). Don't even carry any paperwork regarding the old job - it'll only confuse people !!

Its been done for a long time and everyone is aware of this - so it won't cause any problems.
