Travel on Old H4 when current I-539 is in process

Hi
My wife and kid are back home in India. We all have Visa Stamps from Company A which is valid till oct 07.

I recently joined company B and hence there was application for COS for both H1 and H4. My question is can the wife and kid enter back in US using the old Visa on the Passport as we don't have the current approval notice.

I am still in US so maintaining the H1B status all along.

Please advice, it will be very helpful.
