Travel on local office AP

Hi All,

Appreciate your help on this one.

I got my Adavnce Parole from local office in SFO. This document is not same as we get from National Center. They just gave me one copy which says multiple entry unlike we get 3 copies from National Center.
Also my picture is glued on the document, it wasn't scanned and print on the AP document.
Overall, this AP document is in very bad conditions and doesn't look like INS document.
Does anyone has an experience travelling using Local Office Advance parole?
Please share your experiences and suggestions.

I've a question. Under what circumstances can a person go to local office to get AP if it is pending in Regional office like CSC?
 
My AP was trasnfered with my 485 to the local office. That's how I got my AP.

My only question is does local office notify POE about approved AP or not. If they don't then I may have problem while entering back.

My friend had the similar concern when he got the AP from the local office in case of an emergency. but he was assured by the local office that he'll be fine. My friend was able to use it without any problem. it looks like they use special ink to sign that document.

Due to emergency trip , i went Chicago Local office and got AP. They issued
same as you mention. they issued an covering letter with that docs. they glued photos and sealed with USCIS stamp. I went India and came back. It went fine except in Bombay. In Bombay they are checking valid entry . Then i showed this, first guy did not under stand and then he asked other security guy to check. That guy checked this docs and EAD also.
In Chicago , they did not any thing ...
