I have applied for I-485 and plan to travel and come back on H1-B Visa which is valid for one more year. I have not applied for EAD or AP. I know it was fine till last month. Did anything change after Sept. 11? Can we still travel on H1 after applying for I-485 without AP?
Note: My wife has applied for EAD & AP and has received them. She may use her AP to reenter and continue her work with EAD. She too is on H1 but she will have to get the passport stamped in Madras. Since she has her AP we may just skip it and save couple of days trip to Madras. Hope that does not effect my H1. any thoughts?
