Travel on AP

Hi,

My H1 B has expired. I am working on EAD since 9 months, but not working with GC sponsoring company. But haven't sent AC21 letter to inform USCIS. If I want to travel to India on AP, what are the documents do we need to show along with AP, passport, I-94. Also, do they ask any question like - who is the current employer? Do they ask for letter from current employer? Appreciate if you could provide your responses, and share your experiences with AP travel.

All you need to show them is your AP and passport. Any questions they ask are usually for identification purposes, such as your father's first name.
