Travel on AP

Hi Guys,

I am travelling to India either thru Emirates or Air India. My H1 is expired, I-485 is pending and I am having a valid AP.

Q1. What documents do I need to carry?

Q2. Do I need any kind of transit visas (either in London or Dubai)?

Q3. Anybody faced any problems on travelling on AP?

Please answer the above questions and guide me to make a safe trip.

Thanks in advance for helping me out in answering the above questions.

I-485 : RD 08/29/2002
FP2: 05/08/2004
RFE Issued: 04/19/2004
RFE Recived by BCIS: 05/7/2004
AD: ??????

I recently travelled on AP. I flew AirIndia since they didn't require passengers to transit thru Paris. Make sure you carry all copies of your AP document. If you're travelling on AP the first time, immigration officials in India might keep one copy of AP for themselves, and thats just fine.

If you have just two copies of AP and travelling first time with AP, DO NOT give one original copy to Indian immigration officer (why do they need it?). Instead of that, keep couple of photocopies. Give them photocopy if officer need it.

Thanks for your reply.

If I flew from London, do I need to get transit visa. If yes, do you know what is the procedure?

Thanks
