All,

Soon I will be travelling to India via Newark and back.

Can any one post their experience about travel on AP at this airport.

Cheers,

No Problem at all....

Came back from India via Newark during Apr. '04 on AP. As soon as my turn came, I was asked to go to one more room, waited for nearly an hour. Asked a couple of general questions (job, company etc..) and I need to show Passport & AP. Stamped on Passport (new I94 valid for one year.) and also on AP.

Good Luck.

Jay_T,

Thanks. I have 3 AP copies with me. Do you know where each needs to be used?

They will need only one for reenter. You have three as you can reenter US 3 times using AP. It doesn't hurt to carry all along with EAD (not required, though) and other documents...

why only 3 times?

Why only 3 times when my AP petition was for multilple entry?
Even my lawyer confirmed that I can use AP for any # of times. I am told that 1 of the copies is for the air-carrier, 1 for the POE officials and 1 is for myself. Is this true?

please comment.

speedy1027,

Your attorney is right. Each one for you, air lines and POE. Carry all 3 APs, EADs and I-485 Receipt and I-140 approval (If it is approved so) and also some photo copies of AP.

When Air line asked for it, show the original and if they want you can give them a photocopy to keep with them.

You need to show one original to POE and they will stamp it as many times as you travel if it is multiple entry.

Good luck...

Thanks
