Travel on AP -- Please help!

Hi,

I have a plan to travel back to China by the end of this year. I am working on H-1 and have
applied I-485(less than 180 days) with AP and EAD.

. If I reenter US on AP, will my current H-1B visa become invalid?
. If I go for H-1B stamp at America Embassy, and for some reason, it got denied. In this case
 Can I still use my AP to reenter US without any problem?

Yes, if you re-enter the US on AP your H1B will be automatically invalidated.

To your second question, I would think that if you have a problem with getting the H1B stamp, you could still use your AP re-enter. I\'d be curious to see what others think about this.

If you enter on AP, your H1/L1 is still valid as long as it is not
expired.

Why even bother to get an H1-B stamp if you can re-enter using
AP. Do you miss those \'cool\' consulate

I am going back China on AP also at the end of yeat. It should be
no problem at all.
