Travel on AP - FP LUD

Folks,

I recd. FP notice on 5/18 and got it done on 5/19. LUD for I-485 is 5/20 which
means, I assume that, they have recd. FPs. As I understand from writings here that I-485 could be approved/denied any time now. I am currently on H1B status - no visa stamp on passport - however. I have no plans of taking visa.

Has any one had experience of I-485 approval while they are on travel using AP. If I-485 is denied (for some reasons) what would be the status at POE.

Make sure you carry your AP.
If your 485 gets approved, you can enter using AP - no issues with that.
You'll get a deferred inspection at POE.

Am not sure what happens if your 485 is denied ... since you can always file a MOTR the 485, you should be ok I guess -- but this is a question for an attorney
btw, is your case complicated ? 485 denials are not very common (140 denials are more common)
