Hi,
I just got my J1 waiver aproved on Fri- posted on-line by Dept of State.
I need to exit the country to go on a cruise on Feb 9th (paid for...too late to change/cancel without penalties)
according to what I read on the Internet, can't travel on J-1 visa anymore since Dept of State approved the waiver...but I don't have the necessary docs (at this time) to go get an H-1 stamp either...
I read somewhere about advance parole travel document- basically, it's for people changing status and getting permission to travel so it would not create the impression that they abandon their application...
anyone had experience w/ advance parole travel?
thanks!
