Travel Information for K3 visa holder

Hi,
I am on k3 visa in U.S. and I would like to visit my native country.
Is it possible to travel and return with the unexpired k3 visa or should I follow any procedure or inform the I.N.S. about my travel?

Yes you can travel. But first did you file your AOS papers. You must file your AOS paper before you leave. The k3 visa is a multi-visa you don't need travel documents to travel but you do have to have your letter of notice for filing your AOS papers before you leave the country. You don't want them to say that you abandon your AOS.:)
