Travel in India with OCI

Hi All,

We want to travel in India to various places of interest during this year. We applied for the OCI and hope to get them by the time we go to India.
I have a few questions in this regard:

1. Recently the Govt of India announced that the OCI's can avail the same concessions as Indian citizens for domestic airfare concessions. Does this mean that we can book discount fares in Rs and show our OCI's as ID at the airports?
2. Hotel stay - Can we show our OCI's as ID and pay for the hotel rooms in Rs? Earlier we have been giving our local address in India and not bothering to show any ID at hotel registration.
3. For senior citizens (+60 years) when we book rail travel, the concessional rate automatically applies. But during travel, the ID is sometimes checked by the ticket examiner. We have been showing copies of Indian passports until now. Is this concession ( about 30%) applicable to OCI's as well?
Thanks in advance for any clarification.

- Krishna
