Aloha,

Can anyone help to let me know if you call travel between the US and Canada while you are doing consular processing for a family based green card. We will be married shortly and I am wondering if I am able to travel into the US from Canada during the process? What I have read on the website seems to indicate yes. Here are the questions I have.

If you can travel between the US and Canada how often can you during the process?

Is there a time limit that you can stay beyond the 90 days the Canadian passport offers?

Does the travel have to go through a certain point of entry i.e. if the consular is in vancouver would I have to fly from Vancouver to the US?

Thank you all

Michael

Yes you can (if they let you in, of course). The fact that you have an ongoing consular processing should help convince them that you are not going to abuse the entry to adjust status.
