Travel experience on AP - Airlines through Europe/ West Asia

Hello,
I am seeking anecdotal guidance on using AP to come back to the US from India while using European carriers/ West Asia carriers.

The question is not on AP usage per-se but on the ease of AP acceptance while in transit airports in Europe/ Dubai etc and people's experiences.

Specifically interested in learning

  • Issues if any while boarding flights back to US in Europe or Dubai etc esp. using Advance Parole
  • Immigration requirements - transit visa etc.

Port of Entry is San Francisco, CA

PS: Have previously traveled through Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea ) etc. on AP without issues.
 
Most countries have their own unique requirements. You will need to consult the respective countries consulate to get a better understanding.

Traveling to and from USA-INDIA via Belgium:
You do not need AP or US VISA to transit.
Going to INDIA - USA will verify your eligibility to enter INDIA.
Going to USA - INDIA will verify your eligibility to enter USA.
Although, things might be different due to new regulations in place starting today.

The exceptions under no. 1.) apply.

In addition, please note:

Indian, Turkish, Nigerian and Ghanaian airport transit travelers who

- are holding a valid visa or other residence permit for the USA (this includes advance paroles, but not approval notices), Canada or Switzerland and travel to the country which issued that visa or residence permit

or- after a legal stay in the USA (this includes holders of valid approval notices), Canada or Switzerland- return to the country whose citizenship they hold

do not need an airport transit visa.
 
Please check very carefully with the country that you are flying through. The problem is not that they will not let you return to the US (they will - provided you have a valid AP), the problem is that you may need a transit visa just becuase you are on AP.

If you are flying through the UK on an AP, you need a transit visa
