Travel During I 140

Hi
I have a doubt on travel during I 140 pettion pending. If the dependants on the application travel outside USA for couple of months during I 140, Is it going to cause any problems/issues in I140 or I485 Application or green card process.

I want to delay the concurrent I-485 application and go ahead only with the I140 , in that case my dependants may be allowed to travel ..?

My understanding is:

I-140 is filed only in your name . Dependents do not come in picture till I-485 stage.

I dont think that you need a AP when I-140 is in process. I travelled twice out of country after filing 1-140 and before approval of I-140. My wife was travelling, out country when i filed my I-140.

On concurrent process i have no experience.

However do consult your lawyer.
