Travel Documents needed.

My 485 application is pending for 2 months now and i'm on 7th year H1-B visa extension and visa is not stamped. How can i get the travel documents to travel overseas and get back without any trouble ? Please let me know what would be the process to get these documents. Thanks indeed.
 
You should apply for AP (Advance Parole). You can get the relevant form(s) from the USCIS website.

Hey AMAN787, Have you got I485 receipts. I am in same situation now as you said got the receipt for the I140 but was waiting got other receipts back in March.
 
My attorney filed papers again. Not sure he filed earlier or not.
Now i have my EAD approved. Good luck
 
USCIS just approved my H1B extension however I have not yet receieved the approval notice.

I also have an AP. Can I travel abroad and come back with my AP without getting my new H1B stamped??

Thanks AMAN. Same thing, after I got I140 approved with ported PD, lawyer is filed 485 again this week. I should get receipts now by next week.
