Travel Dilemma

My wife is currently working on an H1-B with her current employer. She now has an EAD card due to my gc application with my current employer.

1. If she continues working on her current H1-B and uses her EAD for a side business to earn some extra cash, does that put her on EAD status?

2. Also, since Advance Parole is taking so much time to come from Texas, if she wishes to travel to India, can she still use her valid H1-B notice of approval and get a visa stamp in India even though she has already used her EAD card and gone on that status?

Technically I feel that she would again go on H1-B status and will come to the US on that status and then can use her EAD to continue on side business and current employer. She will just use her H1-B for travel purposes. But, I'm not sure about this.

Can anyone please clear this confusion for us?

Thanks!

Another question...

1. If my wife goes to India on H1-b and waits there till her advance parole comes and I take it with me to india can she re-enter back on advance parole?

So the situation becomes, leave on h1-b, resign job from india and then come back on advance parole?

Thanks!
