Two questions:
1. I am on an F1. My graduation date is Dec 31, and I am on OPT until March 31. I am going to India in Nov and will be back in Dec. When I am in India, I plan to get my F1 restamped (Dec first week), based on graduation + OPT after that. I have a job offer letter from a company already.
Questions:
1.1: Should I disclose the OPT/job-offer when re-applying?
1.2: What else do I need to keep in mind when applying for this visa re-stamping?
1.3: As it is so clsoe to graduation date, should I get it done in Canada right now, before I leave?
2. My current fiance and to be wife has an H1 from employer-A, which is a well-known IT consulting firm. She was in USA until summer, and is now in India. Employer-A wants her to start on a project in Jan'07 and is willing to give her leave in Dec. She has a visa on her passport already (from employer A).
Questions:
2.1: Can she come to to USA while on leave, and join the new asignment here after she is here for a month?
2.2: What documents will she need for 2.1 ?
2.3: If she gets an F2 to come back to USA does that invalidate her H1 or can she do a Change of status after she is here?
