travel after green card thru Consular processing

my parents recently got green card at consular processing. they are quite old and hence i want them to live with us at their advanced age. i can afford their healthcare needs etc. They dont have to work or accumulate the SSN requirements.

My question is related to their travel plans. They plan to travel to US in December and intend to stay with us for 6 to 7 months and then return to india to sell house etc. Hence i am buying a return ticket for them from Delhi to US. Can this pose a problem at port of entry interview? Can a question come up if they really intend to immigrate to US or not? We sincerely intend to have them live with us but i would like them to travel back to india every year for couple of months to be with their friends and family.

Yeah sure, there is no problem with having a R/T ticket or going back for couple of months a year.

I don't think I've ever heard of anybody being asked or hassled about their ticket on their initial entry as a permanent resident. However, on trips after that sometimes people get hassled if they enter with a return ticket that has a return leg going outside the US.
