Travel after getting I-485 filing

I have filed my I-485 in Sept 99 and my H-1B is valid till feb 2001. Does anybody know if i will have Any problem while coming back from India if I travel for a month. Any suggestion or experince is highly appreciated....

  no problem . I travelled like this before. I filed my 485 during sep 99 and travelled in oct 99 and came back in dec 99. I am travelling again next month with H1

As long as you have not used your EAD for working there should be no problem.

If you have used, I would suggest you better have you AP in hand when you are entering.

Kannan , Thanks for your reply. I also got my EAD when I filed my I-485 although I never used it .Does getting EAD in some way affects your H-1B status or subsequent travel.

  I got an EAD but never used it. Till you dont use it it will not create any problem. Hope for getting the FP/Approval at the earliest
