Travel after FP

I filed on July 2 and have done FP. I do have an H1B valid till 2008. Can I travel without issues. AP pending.

It is much better to wait for AP, but if you have to travel, H1 visa is OK. Note you must apply for an H1 visa stamp, being in valid H1 status doesn't allow you to reenter the U.S.

I had received a note from my attorney that if you travel before AP is approved and if AP is pending then,that AP application will be considered abandoned.

What if I dont receive my AP within 90 days? I have to travel in Dec and would like know my options.

If you have an alternate visa like H1-B/H4 you are ok; else you have to obtain approved AP before travelling outside of country.
