TRAVEL after AP apply

Hi,

I recently applied for my wife's 3rd AP travel document, and she is planning to travel soon. Can she go out of country before we receive her approval? I know she has to be in the country at the time of AP apply, what about for approval?

You need to have a valid AP for travel. I don't know the validity dates of your wife's 2nd AP. The expiry date of the 2nd AP is when she would have to return...
e.g. If the 2nd AP expires on 6/30/05, she would have to come back to US before that date...

what if her 2nd AP expires, but 3rd AP got approved while she is out of country(i f i post her that by mail to foreign country). It's like going out on 2nd AP valid ( 3rd AP just applied), and coming back with 3rd AP valid (2nd AP date could expire while she is outside).

You need to use the same AP to enter US which was used for out bound travel.
