TRAVEL ADVICE FLYING ON KUWAIT air lines with valid AP

Hi,
I am going to Chennai this Monday(11/22/04) by Kuwait air lines and here are the details
CHICAGO to GENEVA,SWITZERLAND
GENEVA,SWITZERLAND to KUWAIT,KUWAIT
KUWAIT,KUWAIT to CHENNAI,INDIA

My questions are
1. Since I am going with AP(Valid till 05/05) do I need any transit VISA for GENEVA,SWITZERLAND or KUWAIT,KUWAIT.
2. Did anybody travel thru this route please share your experience.
3. What all document do I need to take.
4. Is there any chance my case get approved while i am out side of country(3 months), if YES would that be a problem to come back with AP.
