Transiting through the U.S. with GC

Hello. I am now outside of the U.S. in Europe which is my planned 4-5 month trip.

Before I return back to the US for another solid long period of time, I am about to take a trip to Central America which is a roundtrip flight leaving from Europe and transiting the U.S.

The european stay is just temporary in nature and I do spend most of the time of the year in the U.S. anyways, but I just wonder whether such travel schedule may cause any problems.?.

Thank you

You should have another ticket that ends up in the US after your stay in Central America.

Well, I don't. I have it like this:

France -> U.S. -> Cental America

and

Central America -> U.S. -> France

Soon after that I will have another one-way ticket to the U.S.
So, Jackolantern, do you think this scenario is risky to do?

It's risky if you don't have another ticket back to the US when you're in transit in the US. They don't like to see return tickets that end up outside the US.

Thank you Jackolantern. Even though my current ticket will be ending outside the US , I will make sure to also have another ticket showing my return to the US on soon date.
