Transit Visa

I will be travelling on AP to India.... Does travelling through frankfurt requires a trasit visa? I searched the forums and it was slightly confusing. CAn some one confirm if that is needed or not?

There is paranoya about transit visas on the forums. No, you do not need one.

If you have AP, going to India and coming back to USA, I think You need Transit visa..

I just spoke with air india and they said as long as I have multiple entry advance parol I dont require transit visa.....
