Transit Visa?

I have GC, but my son's (17 yrs) I485 is still in process. He is in AOS. I am planning to visit India this summer and have applied for AP for my son. I will be going through London. Do I need transit visa? Please clarify. Thanks.

you still need a transit visa

Having a AP letter does not qualify as an exemption, you still need a transit visa. You can use the letter to gain the transit visa.
