I a planning to travel to India next month by Northwest airlines which has a stop at amsterdam.The visa stamped on my passport has expired and I don't have the new H1b visa stamped on my passport.Do I need a transit visa.Please Advice.
Amsterdam airport transit does not require transit visas. I travelled by Northwest/KLM to India in Jan 2005. My situation was similar to yours ie visa stamp in passport had expired but passport was valid.
